Jewish youth movement
Umbrella term for various Jewish youth associations of the German Empire and Weimar Republic. They were influenced by the German youth movement and emphasized Jewish elements in education. Starting in 1933, the German Reich increasingly placed restriction on Jewish youth work, and in 1939 all Jewish youth movements were banned.
